SMS is a cooperative that provides exclusive supply chain services to two QSR concepts, Popeyes Louisiana Chicken and Cinnabon, Inc. (the “Brands”).  SMS currently serves over 2,600 restaurants operating in 22 countries, and is owned by over 550 franchisees.

Our core competency is field to table management of our member brand’s supply chain, which includes product sourcing, vendor and contract management, 3rd party logistics, distribution, LTO inventory management, and commodities management, as well as negotiating and leveraging synergies across brands.
Commitment to Savings & Success
We are committed to delivering year over year Cost of Goods savings while maintaining all brand quality standards. We are also involved with international supply chain efforts for both brands and deliver additional savings in this area. We were successful in reducing the combined COGS for our two member brands (Popeyes® and Cinnabon®) over $50 million dollars over 3 years through these efforts, on a base of a $600+ million total spend.
