Kent has over 22 years of experience in the poultry industry, having trained in the plant and moved—into sales. He held several sales and management positions where he was given increasing levels of responsibility, ending as director of sales. In that role he supervised 22 people and was responsible for the sales of 7 processing plants and two distribution centers. He oversaw sales of 28,000,000 pounds of poultry a week from those facilities. He graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Kent continued to receive training with several specialized negotiation and time management classes. Kent was selected as Golden Poultry’s employee of the year in 1992 and he received several “Work Horse” awards for both Golden Poultry and Gold Kist.

Kent decided to switch from selling to procurement in 2008. He wanted new responsibility and thought he could bring value since he understands how poultry processors think. Kent’s business philosophy is to build relationships and treat people fairly and honestly. He believes that business roles may put you in situations where you are after different results, but as long as you are true to yourself and your work you can keep the respect and trust of your business partners.

Kent has been happily married for 27 years. He attributes a lot of his success to the support of his wife Kim. He loves spending time with his family, and enjoys several sports and most outdoor activities.

Michael S. Boyer

Mike has been in the Food Industry for over 40 years in various capacities including food service/restaurant operations, supply chain procurement and distribution, cooperatives and group purchasing , out-source procurement services, plus supply chain business development and client services.

He has worked for Burger King, Compass Group, Sodexo, and Bojangles, and interacted with several other notable Brands who were Clients, such as; Arby’s, Breaker’s, Cinnabon, Copeland’s, Harrah’s, Marriott, McAlister’s Deli, Med Assets, Popeyes, Quiznos, Sizzler, Starbuck’s, and Taco John’s.  While at Sodexo, Mike received a Company award for “Corporate Support Person of the Year”, and represented the USA in Paris, France, at the Sodexo Worldwide Innovation Forum.  During his career, Mike has been involved in the pioneering of several start-ups and was an integral part of the integration of the culture of several Companies as a result of mergers and acquisitions. Success he feels, starts with seeking to understand the needs of your customer, continuously exceeding those needs, and building lasting trust relationships with them.  Within your Company, your people are your greatest asset, and building a team environment that is fun, rewarding, yet challenging, is paramount to a “High-Performance” organization.

Mike has an MBA from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University of PA.  He and his wife of 25 years, Carolyn have three boys.  When not focusing on work or family, he is probably watching NASCAR, fishing or hunting.

Tony Woodard

Tony is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of broad business experience in both privately held and publicly traded companies as well as in the public accounting industry.  He has over 20 years of supply chain and restaurant industry experience.

Tony joined Supply Management Services in February of 2017 to serve as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer.  From 2004 to 2017, Tony served the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Brand in a variety of roles including Vice President – Supply Chain, Interim CFO, Vice President – Finance and Investor Relations.  Prior to joining Popeyes, Tony spent ten years in the refrigerated warehousing and logistics industry in various accounting and finance functions with Americold Logistics LLC.  Tony began his career in the public accounting arena as an accounting and audit professional with Deloitte & Touche LLP.  He attended the University of Georgia where he earned a B.B.A. degree and is an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.

Outside of work, Tony spends his time with his wife of over 25 years and their three children.   He looks forward to continuing his career as part of the SMS family serving our franchisee system.

Robert Schnurr

Robert Schnurr is the Executive Director of Commodities & Services. In this capacity he is responsible for developing and implementing the SMS commodity management strategy, as well as for overseeing the equipment and ancillary services programs. He assume this position in May, 2013 after serving as the Vice President of Procurement  from April 2007, where he oversaw all food and packaging procurement. To this, he served as the Vice President of Distribution since  he joined SMS in 2006

Robert has over 30 years of food service experience. Prior to joining Supply Management Services he was the Vice President of Procurement at Blimpie International inc. From 1984 to 2006 he served in various positions, including Operations Director, VP of Product Development and Assistant VP of Research and Development at Blimpie International. During this time he also served as an Officer on the Blimpie Board for over 6 years.

Prior to joining Blimpie International Robert was employed as a Chef at several New York City restaurants. From 1986 -1990 he was Executive Chef and General Manager for the Border Café restaurants in New York City.

Robert graduated the New York Restaurant School in 1984 with Honors. During his tenure at Blimpie International he received the Employee of the Year “Extra Slice “award in 1991, and was awarded the Chairman’s award for Excellence in 1997. Robert served as President of the Mid Queens Boys Club for 5 years while living in NY, providing 1,500 families in the area with recreational sports programs and a Teen Club center.
